From Passion to Profession

My journey into filmmaking started when I was just 14, and it’s a story that’s stayed with me ever since. It all began with a high school video project—my first chance to direct, shoot, and edit something of my own. At the time, I had no idea that it would become such a pivotal moment for me. Working with my friends, trying out ideas and getting to experiment, was honestly amazing. I remember adding these super “cheesy” visual and sound effects that somehow made sense in the video’s context. But the real highlight came when we showed the final cut to the class. Watching everyone’s reactions, hearing them laugh, seeing that they genuinely enjoyed it—that’s when it really hit me. I’d found something I truly loved.

From that point on, I knew I wanted to pursue filmmaking, to keep creating moments that connect with people, even if it’s just through a laugh or a memorable scene. This high school project wasn’t just an assignment—it was the first step in my journey to turn a passion into a lifelong career.
